Reef Diagrid is two prints that do different jobs. The outer shell is a woven diamond lattice — fourteen rows of struts that lean, cross and thicken into small nodes where they meet, so the light leaves in a pattern rather than a glare. Inside it, a frosted sleeve carries the source: it removes every hot spot, hides the lamp entirely, and turns the shell into something that paints the wall around it.
Designer’s note
The lattice is the whole argument. A pierced shade is easy; a woven one has to hold itself up while it leans, which is why every strut is angled no more than 42° from vertical and meets its neighbours on a 5.5 mm node. That is also why it prints with no supports at all — nothing in the shell ever spans air. Lift the shell off and the frosted sleeve is a quiet lamp on its own.

- Construction
- Two-perimeter lattice, struts 3.2 mm measured; single-wall frosted sleeve 1.2 mm. Printed in one continuous piece per part, no supports, no glue.
- Light source
- Designed around a Ø80 mm LED puck light (USB or battery), which pushes up into the base ring from below. Light source not included — LED only, never incandescent or halogen.
- Light on the wall
- A woven diamond shadow thrown across the wall and table; an even, sourceless glow through the sleeve.
- Lead time
- Made to order, 2–3 weeks. Orders this week start on Monday 21 September and ship by 16 October.
- Care
- Dust with a soft dry cloth or a cool hair-dryer. Keep away from direct sun and heat above 50 °C. Indoor use.
