Knot is a seamless woven ball. The over-and-under weave is modelled into the surface itself — the crowns are thick and dim, the crossings thin and bright — so it glows like knitted wool without a single hole for dust to find. The yarns gather into an off-axis tip at the top; it is a table object first and a lamp second.
Designer’s note
Woven lamps sit at the top of the market and almost all of them are open lattices you cannot dust. We wanted the texture with a closed skin. Modelling the weave as a relief on the outer surface only, with a smooth inner sphere, gave us the knit glow and kept it clean. The gathered tip replaced a squat closed cap that would not print without supports — an honest compromise we now prefer.

- Construction
- Solid 1.3 mm shell with a 3 mm woven relief. Printed in one continuous piece per part, no supports, no glue.
- Light source
- Designed around a Ø80 mm LED puck light (USB or battery), which pushes up into the base ring from below. Light source not included — LED only, never incandescent or halogen.
- Light on the wall
- A soft knit pattern; brightest at the equator.
- Lead time
- Made to order, 2–3 weeks. Orders this week start on Monday 21 September and ship by 16 October.
- Care
- Dust with a soft dry cloth or a cool hair-dryer. Keep away from direct sun and heat above 50 °C. Indoor use.

Orders placed this week go onto the printer from Monday 21 September. Most shades are a single eighteen-to-twenty-hour print.
